About the OCSL
The Ottawa Christian Softball League (OCSL) has been in existence for over two decades. Previously known as the Nepean Christian Adult Mixed Softball League (NCAMSL), the OCSL provides an opportunity for men and women of churches in the Ottawa area to come together for fellowship and recreation through the sport of softball. Teams must field a mixed gender line-up and all participants are required to be adults (please see league rules for more details).
In recent years, the league has grown from 10 teams to 20 teams. Our games are played on city fields in the West End of Ottawa. Being a recreational league, we strive to allow all teams to actively participate, such that every team plays on game days (every Friday throughout the summer, except for some long weekends) and every team plays two playoff games. Winning takes a backseat to sportsmanship and fellowship.
