Ottawa Christian Softball League Schedule

Teams play teams in their division once or twice
When a team plays an opponent twice in the season, the second game is at a different diamond and the teams switch who is home team.
No team plays more than two consecutive weeks as home team or away team.

Only B division teams are scheduled to play on the Medhurst diamonds.
Each team is scheduled to play at least once or at most 3 times at a diamond.
No team plays consecutive weeks at a diamond.

Top 4 teams from A division in 2025 play each other in the first three weeks of the season.
Top 4 teams from B division in 2025 play each other in the first three weeks of the season.
The 4 new teams play all the other B division teams before playing each other.
A division match ups repeat after 9 weeks.
B division match ups repeat after 11 weeks.

If no game is played on a Friday, then the entire schedule is moved back one week, effectively removing the last week of the schedule.
If at least one game is played on a Friday, then the schedule continues on the next week, effectively removing the non-played games of that week from the schedule.

Teams may be asked to switch divisions after 7 games.
There will be one mid-season swap between the top 1 or 2 teams in B with the bottom one or two teams in A, based on NSA tiebreakers.
The league executive will consider plus/minus and other factors (e.g., tough schedule, input from potential swapping teams' captains, etc.) that should be considered in potential swaps.

Games on the final Saturday of the season will be set based on regular season standings, with the groupings playing on nearby diamonds and the A division games played at the larger diamonds.
A teams 1 to 4 of A division
B teams 5 to 8 of A division
C teams 9 and 10 of A division, teams 1 and 2 of B division
D teams 3 to 6 of B division
E teams 7 to 10 of B division
F teams 11 and 12 of B division

Playoffs Note: The home team for the second game will be the higher ranked team going in. (i.e if it ends up being A4 vs A2 that play each other then A2 would be home team)
